Easton Corbin is set to play at the New Faces show at the Country Radio seminar, and he couldn't be more honored to be doing so.
The singer tells Billboard.com that getting invited to take part in the event is "confirmation from radio that they believe in what you're doing," and it's a true confidence builder.
But Easton adds that being at the Country Radio Seminar serves another purpose for him. He explains that he's developed friendships with a number of radio people since his debut single, "A Little More Country Than That," first arrived in August 2009. Corbin says seeing these people at this year's CRS will give him the chance to build upon their relationship, which is important to him because "that's something that's long lasting."
The annual New Faces of Country Music Show is one of the highlights of the CRS. In addition to Corbin, this year's concert will feature Florida Georgia Line, Brantley Gilbert, Kip Moore, and Jana Kramer. The show will close this year's Country Radio Seminar on March 1st.
