Fire causes damage at Loretta Lynn's ranch

Loretta Lynn's Ranch has suffered more damage.  Nashville's WTVF-TV says a fire broke out at a concession stand on the property last Thursday.  That structure was destroyed, and an eating area and a storage unit were damaged.

The fire occurred near the Ranch's Motocross track, and Lynn's home wasn't in danger of catching fire.  Officials believe either a power strip or the weather sparked the blaze.

Lynn later confirmed the incident via Twitter:

The Motocross track at the Loretta Lynn Ranch has hosted the Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship since 1982.  This year's event will take place from July 28th through August 3rd.

Late last month severe weather caused damage at Lynn's Hurricane Mills Ranch.  Following the storm Loretta said that the property looked "like a war zone."  However, Lynn is still expecting to open the Ranch, which is one the most popular tourist spots in Tennessee, as scheduled this Friday.
